Boralex has chosen to join forces with the Common Roots Foundation (CRF) as a Foundation Sponsor to further our commitment to the communities in which we operates.
The CRF and Common Roots Brewery are very popular in the region and do a fantastic job of raising and distributing funds to local charities that align with Boralex’s values. As they point out themselves on their web page, the foundation’s goal is to maintain and improve the quality of life in upstate New York. So it was a natural fit for Boralex to team up with them to help improve things in this area, where we also has strong roots.
Through this partnership, Boralex is helping to ensure that the end-users of the funds are carefully vetted and well aligned with the Foundation’s goals.
This association has also enabled Boralex to make itself known to the people of upstate New York, to tell its story and explain its role in a greener, more sustainable future.
