About the Chépy Wind Farm
The Chépy wind farm is located in the municipality of Chépy, in the Somme department. Commissioned in 2003, it consists of 2 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 4 MW. This site produces the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 2,600* residents.
Thanks to this installation, nearly 260* tonnes of CO₂ emissions are avoided each year. This project is fully aligned with Boralex’s strategy to accelerate the energy transition across the region.
