About the Coulonges Wind Farm

The Coulonges Wind Farm is located in the municipality of Coulonges-Thouarsais. Commissioned in 2011, it consists of 18 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 36 MW.

This site produces the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 34,500* residents. Thanks to this installation, nearly 3,200* tonnes of CO₂ emissions are avoided each year. This project is fully aligned with Boralex’s strategy to accelerate the energy transition across the region.
