Site overview

The Le Plateau 1 wind farm is located on unorganized territory of Ruisseau-Ferguson in Avignon MRC, in Québec’s Gaspésie region. Since November 30th, 2020, Boralex operates and owns 100% of the production site.

The farm operates 60 Enercon E‑70 wind turbines and has a 20‑year power supply contract with Hydro-Québec, awarded after a call for tenders, in 2005, to deliver 2,000 MW of wind power.
