Philippe Bonin is a senior finance executive with experience across regulated industries, telecommunications, technology, media, and private equity. Before joining Boralex as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, he has held leadership roles in both capital-intensive and growth-oriented businesses, with direct responsibility for financial and operational performance. Over the course of his career, Mr. Bonin has worked with organizations such as Cogeco, TC Transcontinental, La Caisse, and Ernst & Young.
Throughout his career, he has led capital allocation decisions, M&A transactions, project evaluation processes, and long-term financial planning initiatives. His cross-sector background provides hands-on experience managing diverse business models and navigating complex operating environments.
Philippe is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA from McGill University.
